1. Introduction and Acceptance of the Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of photography, videography, and related media services by NEXT STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY to any individual or organization. By requesting a quotation, securing a booking, paying an invoice, or permitting us to document your event, you agree to be legally bound by these conditions.
These terms apply to all services offered, including weddings, Kwanjula, Kukyala, corporate functions, brand media, drone operations, and event display solutions. The specific quotation and service agreement signed for your project form the complete contract alongside these Terms. In the event of a conflict between these general terms and a specific written agreement signed by both parties, the specific agreement will take precedence.
2. Services
We provide professional media services including:
• Wedding and traditional ceremony coverage
• Corporate and brand storytelling
• Commercial videography
• Aerial drone coverage
• LED screen support
3. Bookings and Contract Formation
A contract is officially formed once you have approved a proposal in writing and submitted the required deposit. By finalizing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these protocols.
4. Payments and Pricing
All quotes are based on the details provided during the inquiry. Prices are subject to change if the project scope or timing is altered. Unless otherwise agreed, a substantial advance payment is required to secure our services for your date. The remaining balance must be settled according to the timeline specified in your invoice. Clients are responsible for all transaction fees. Additional charges apply for overtime, travel, and specialized editing requests.
5. Client Responsibilities
You must provide accurate event data and ensure NEXT STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY has lawful access to all locations. Obtaining permits for drone flight or venue access is the client's responsibility. We are not liable for gaps in coverage caused by venue restrictions or lack of cooperation from participants.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Requests to change dates or venues must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. If NEXT STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY is unable to accommodate a new date, the request may be treated as a cancellation. If you cancel, the retention of payments will be determined based on the notice provided and expenses already incurred.
7. Equipment and Delivery
While we use professional-grade equipment, NEXT STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY is not liable for data loss due to unforeseen technical failure beyond our control. Final media will be delivered in the agreed format within the estimated timelines provided. You engage us for our specific artistic style; therefore, editing and image selection are at our professional discretion. RAW files are typically not provided.
8. Intellectual Property
NEXT STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY retains full copyright of all created materials. Clients are granted a non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial use requires a separate licensing agreement. We reserve the right to use selected media for our portfolio and promotional needs unless a confidentiality agreement is reached in advance.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific assignment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Uganda.
